     It was 20 years ago today that the 'Knockout King' of all-time, Archie Moore, passed away at the age of 84 in his hometown of San Diego,California.

     You may consider Ali, or Mayweather, or 'Sugar Ray' to be the best pound-for-pound fighter to ever lace up the gloves.  As for me, I'll take the Old Mongoose.  The best fighter ever to combine bludgeoning power and ring savvy with an abiding compassion for society's disadvantaged.
