The headline says it all, “More Than Super Stars”. Worldwide sports is a $160 billion business per year, that is now shutdown almost entirely.
There are a lot of rich athletes who can survive this huge economic shutdown, but sports is much more than athletes. It is the ticket takers, the ushers, the concession workers, the parking lot attendants, the media and all the back office people. Many who are not getting paid.
