Vernon Carey Jr, ranked by virtually every recruiting service as one of the top high school basketball prospects in the nation, has cast his lot with Duke.
The 6'10", 275 pound Carey will be on full display later this month at the prestigious Les Schwab Invitational in Hillsboro, Oregon as the standout center from University School in Ft Lauderdale, Florida.
Carey is the son of former Miami Hurricanes and Miami Dolphins offensive lineman Vernon Carey,Sr.
Catch Carey Jr. in Hillsboro December 26-29, before he's 'one-and-done' in Durham.
